Misha Martin, MD

Functional Medicine

Dr. Misha Martin has completed the Institute for Functional Medicine coursework as of March 2024.  She enjoys a deeper dive approach to medicine and searching for the root problems of disease.  Her passion is helping patients heal using a functional medicine and integrative approach.  She is a Board Certified Pediatrician of over 20 years and she is a certified herbalist and mindfulness instructor.   Dr. Martin believes in the power of food and lifestyle as medicine and finds this approach to medicine extremely rewarding.

If your child suffers from eczema, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome or disease, sleep issues, mental illness, ADD/ADHD, pre-diabetes, thyroid illness, depression/anxiety, obesity, or other chronic illness consider scheduling an appointment today.

Dr Misha Martin is currently accepting new patients.  Unfortunately, due to the lengthy visit required for functional medicine appointments, insurance is not accepted.  Please call our office to schedule an appointment.

Good nutrition is vital to optimal well-being. Nutrition is one of the most influential determinants of health and wellness, as well as the prevention and treatment of disease.

At Complete Care for Kids, we use an integrative and functional approach to address the root cause.  We focus on the importance of high quality, nutrient-dense foods and lifestyle factors to address imbalances within the body, to allow individuals to improve their health.

Emerging science is very clear that food is a powerful influence on health. Food offers not only the calories that fuel our body’s metabolism, but it also contains many diverse components that greatly influences all of our body systems.  Poor-quality food can influence or create disease, and high-quality food can prevent or reverse disease and sustain health.

In a very real sense, food is medicine.
